ATTENTION ALL IBM COGNOS ENTERPRISE USERS : NEW IBM Cognos BI Licensing Model now in effect

IBM Cognos® Business Intelligence has recently moved to a more simplified license model with fewer license roles to address customer feedback. This migration took place on July 29th, 2014 for all currently supported Passport Advantage IBM Cognos BI customers, allowing users to be able to access increased functionality at no additional license cost (see Figure 1 below). For example, capabilities such as Cognos Workspace Advanced, which provides more user self-sufficiency, are now available to all roles. Some customers may see these changes reflected in their upcoming software subscription and support renewals.
